20 Holistic Supplements is the most requested blog post I’ve had. We had a video about this on our previous channel and it was lost when we moved the content to the new channel. It was our most popular video and I am constantly sending people links for these supplements.

I am a nurse. I’ve said this before and I’ll give you a little background on my credibility. I’ve been a nurse since 1988. This is how my family takes care of itself. We used to be the most dependent, sick people on the planet. We are not anymore.

The good Lord has weened us off the medical industry.

A lot of people say the supplement industry is an industry just the same as the medical industry, but it’s not like Big Pharma.

These are my top 20 supplements that I keep in my house at all times. Now do I take all 20 everyday? Gracious no.

But, they are in my house. Always.

Immune Boosting Supplements

1.GSE Grapefruit Seed Extract- by Zazzee- The best supplement

This is one of the best supplements on the list. And that is why it’s the first on the list.

GSE was discovered by a person who composted grapefruits and discovered that the composting action stopped. Active composting is the result of bacteria breaking down the food waste.

Because the food waste didn’t compost, he discovered the antibacterial properties in grapefruits which are more concentrated in the seed extract.

After spending years doing everything right according to modern medical science and getting sicker, I am here to tell you there are holistic remedies that work awesome. This is my number one recommended supplement. It works to stop bacterial reproduction.

Modern antibiotics are only effective for a short time before the bacteria mutate and develop resistance to them. I’ve never seen these germs mutate against GSE, I’ve never seen this lose it’s effectiveness.

(Along with the GSE you’ll need capsules to put the GSE into to take it. You can get vegan or gelatin based capsules, it’s up to you.)

Fill a double 00 capsule with GSE; it holds about 25 drops. The dosage we take in my family is 2 capsules 3 times a day with food. These are the capsules we use.

For prevention, take 2 capsules twice a day with food about 8-10 hrs apart. This is when you have a virus and you start to recover but are more susceptible to bacterial infection.

Since the Lord started guiding me out of modern medicine, we haven’t been sick nearly as much.

2. Oscillococcinum-

This has been around for about 60 years. It is from Europe and is an immune booster. This stuff is awesome. You take this when you know you’ve been exposed to a virus and you want to rev your immune system up.

If you just found out someone was sick with the flu and they were around your kid, you can give them this. Oscillococcinum is for all ages and stages. It is non drowsy and has no drug interactions and it naturally reduces the duration and severity of flu-like symptoms. This is effective on any virus.

It comes in small vials and is small sugar pellets that you dissolve under your tongue. They taste good so they are great for littles.

They are made from duck liver. Ducks don’t get viruses. They use a sweetener to make it taste good. Duck liver weakens the virus to your immune system can effectively fight it off.

3. Quercetin-

I have a video on rumble, which I will link to, that talks more about this. Quercetin aids the absorption of zinc into the body. It also is a homeopathic remedy for allergies, colds, and inflammation. Quercetin is found naturally in most fruits and vegetables, with high concentrations in kale, red onions, and apples.

4. Combo Vitamin C, D3, and Zinc-

This one is great because it has all 3 of these combined into one pill. All 3 of these are excellent to boost your immune system. Vitamin D3 is good for cognitive function and bone health. Zinc is good for immune boosting and inflammation reduction.

5. Turmeric Supreme-

Extra Strength by Gaia Herbs- Turmeric is a very effective anti-inflammatory. The Lord has brought this to me after many years of prayer as a replacement for steroids for various problems. Turmeric is great for your joints.

I would dare to say by my own experience that I can walk because of turmeric.

If you take too much of this you will start to notice that you’ll bruise easily. Follow the directions on your bottle.

You can lower your dosage to a maintenance dosage to conserve this. But if I have something going on, I bump it up as needed.

I have been juicing turmeric for about 4 years. Prior to that I had a 20 year old injury from a crushing of my right foot, and I was in rehab; I was in a hospital bed for half a year. I walked with a cane fore 3 years. The Dr. told me I would walk with a cane for the rest of my life.

6. Magnesium Glycinate-

There are lots of forms of magnesium. This one will not cause diarrhea. A holistic pharmacist named Eric turned me on to this. Most people are so depleted in magnesium.

It will help your blood pressure, it will help you relax, it will help you fall asleep. It also reduces anxiety.

I recommend taking one of these a day.

7. Tart Cherry Juice-

Great for arthritis and for sleep. It is one of the best things you can do to promote restful sleep. One tablespoon in about 6 oz. of water. This stuff also helps with joints.

8. Code Age SBO 50 Billion Probiotic-

This is the best probiotic that I have bought in the last 2 decades. It is shelf stable.

When you take an antibiotic, you want to take a probiotic as soon as you’re done with the antibiotic.

Probiotics help with food digestion. If you have excessive burping, belching, gas, these are signs that you’re not properly digesting food. This also helps with psoriasis and eczema.

Immune Boosting Supplements

When you are trying to boost your immunity, you should rotate these three so your body doesn’t get overwhelmed with just one supplement.

9. Olive Leaf-

It has many immune boosting properties and is an anti-viral and anti-inflammatory.

10. Echinacea Supreme-

Immune boosting. Do not get the one with golden seal. Golden seal is toxic to a babies development. Golden seal is helpful for sinus trouble, but it’s not worth the risk. Of having that in your house.

11. Elderberry-

Has fantastic immune boosting properties and is used to fight against the flu and cold symptoms.

Anti-Cancer Supplements

12. Barley Life-

Loaded with nutrients, enzymes, antioxidants. This stuff is anti cancer on steroids.

13. Carrot Capsules by Hallelujah acres-

These are great for your eyesight.

14. Desiccated Liver-

This is raw grass fed beef liver. This is a great source of copper, which is super beneficial for your energy. Make sure you eat or take something that is rich in vitamin C.

Energy Supplements-

15. Methyl B-Complex (B12)-

16. Nutribiotic Sodium Ascorbate Buffered Vitamin C-

I recommend this brand because it’s good for breast health. This brand doesn’t cause diarrhea either.

17. Grass Fed Collagen-

I do 2 servings a day. This is great for gut health and joint health. I saw my husband go from barely able to walk to being able to go up and down hills for sledding.

You should get 3-5 servings in for a 3-4 weeks or until your pain is gone.

18. Organic apple cider vinegar capsules-

This is great for digestive health, gall bladder health, and cardio health.

I don’t like the taste of apple cider vinegar. That is why we take the capsules.

19. Cod liver oil and butter oil-

This is fermented. This is a great natural source for D3. The two oils work together for the benefit of dental health. This provides enough D3 for the summer months but we add additional D3 in the winter months to get enough.

20. Vitamin D3 + K2-

K2 helps the D3 work better.

21. Oregano Oil Soft gels-

This stuff is a great immune booster. This stuff is good and my husband takes this daily when he goes to work in the medical community.
